The Skill Development Mission has officially established a specialized International Employment Cell to help trained youth secure job opportunities abroad. Designed as a dedicated facilitation unit, the Cell will track international job markets, coordinate demand-driven training, and ensure a transparent placement process in collaboration with authorized agencies.
Core Mandate & Key Functions
Global Job Mapping & Training: The Cell will aggregate demand from overseas employers and facilitate specialized training tailored to specific international standards and corporate requirements.
Strategic Partnerships: Operations will run in close coordination with Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) registered recruiting agents, the Directorate of Employment's Mission Rozgar, and key institutional stakeholders.
Targeted Beneficiaries: Priority placement support will be extended to certified youth who have completed training under the Skill Development Mission but are currently seeking employment.
Global Skill Standard: Minister of Vocational Education and Skill Development, Kapil Dev Aggarwal, emphasized that this mechanism will seamlessly integrate state-trained talent into the global employment ecosystem.
