The upcoming UP International Trade Show (UPITS) is set to host a revamped, expansive pavilion by the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM). Designed to showcase the immense talent and potential of the state's youth to a global audience, this year’s pavilion promises an interactive, immersive, and employment-centric experience.
A Expanded Vision for Skill Demonstration
Located at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, the event will take place from September 25 to 29. Reflecting the growing scope of vocational training and youth empowerment in the state, the UPSDM pavilion has expanded significantly—from 200 square meters last year to 360 square meters.
The pavilion will feature live demonstrations of 16 distinct skills, blending time-honored traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge, modern industry skill sets. Beyond observing expert artisans and technicians at work, visitors will have the unique opportunity to participate directly in hands-on interactive activities.
Key Highlights of the UP Skill Development Pavilion
The Debut of 'Skill Manch': For the first time, a dedicated platform called Skill Manch will be featured within the pavilion. It serves as a bridge connecting youth with academics, skill experts, industry representatives, and soft skill trainers to provide guidance on modern career paths and employment opportunities.
Industry-Academia Dialogues: Interactive sessions designed to align vocational training programs with evolving market demands and foster collaboration between educational institutes and corporate stakeholders.
Inspiring Alumni Success Stories: Youth who have completed training through the Mission and established successful careers or entrepreneurial ventures will share their personal journeys to inspire the next generation.
Launch of the 'Sewa First Innovation Challenge' Portal: State Minister for Vocational Education and Skill Development, Kapil Dev Agarwal, will officially launch this new portal. It aims to encourage youth, students, startups, and innovators to submit creative solutions for real-world challenges.

Highlighting the holistic approach of this year's setup, Mission Director Pulkit Khare emphasized that the pavilion seamlessly integrates live skill displays with constructive dialogue, technological innovation, and direct career prospects.
